Birthday Flowers

Hi Everybody,

This very vibrant card is created with the Spring Summer Stamp Set from Card Making Magic.

I used the matching dies when possible and fussy cut the others after I had coloured them with Copics.

The flowers can be any colour you choose and you can use your favourite medium for your designs if you don't like Alcohol Markers

I have used the new 6x6 Card & Box die set and the Sentiment Set that also has matching dies to it.

It was very relaxing to sit and colour and I wish I had the time to do it more often. I am happy with the card and it would be suitable for any occasion with a change of the sentiment.

Floral Card from Card making Magic

Hi Everybody,

Today's card is another sample from the ones I made for Hochanda and once again I have used the Spring-Summer Stamp and Die set.

I have stamped all my images onto white card and then coloured them and the die cuts with Copics

This is such a bright and cheerful card and could be for any occasion.

I have used the Sentiments Stamp & Die Set for mine.

The background has been created with  stencil made from the Trellis die in the set and coloured in a very pale pink.

The flowers, bee and butterflies have been added with foam pads to give different heights

Tiny gemstones have been used to add the sparkle to the flower centres and I would be more than happy to get a card like this for my birthday

The New 5x7 Card & Box Die Set

Hi Everybody,

Today I am using the new version of the 5x7 card and box die set and with this new set the Trellis die is included in the box.

So now you have everything you need to make a beautiful card with the fancy trellis work and the box to put it in.

This one has used the trellis as a stencil to decorate the front of the card and both panels to the box to tie them together.

The finished card look really pretty and is prefect to give for a birthday or any other occasion you may have coming up

I used the layering dies  from the set to line the inside and the verse is from the Verses set that came out last year.

So I hope you enjoy the video and will give this card a try, and then give it to someone you love for their special day

Coloured Image

Hello Everybody,

Today I wanted to share some images from the pen of Mo Manning   Her characters are delightful and I have bought quite a few digital images from her website in the past.

Here I have used the same image in different colours to show you how versatile they can be.

I have added this one to a die cut background and added in some of my collection of flowers, ribbons and pearls to both cards

I will add the links at the bottom of the page for you to see what I have used.

For this one I coloured the dress in red and then added Nuvo Clear Glitter Gloss over the top .

I love the expression on this child's face and you can imagine her stomping off in a huff over some unintended  slight she has had

Take a look at some of the other characters on the Digital Pencil website

Father Christmas ...

Hello Everybody,

Today I am sharing some Christmas Cards with you that are from  magazine that was on sale on the 15th November.

I made the cards for the video but sadly I didn't get to film it for you. But here are the cards.

The magazine had a lovely stamp set with it and a luxury set of foiled papers and toppers.

This is the Father Christmas from the set stamped direct to the card and I coloured him with water colours.

I used some of the stickers from the pack also for extra decoration and the foiled sentiment at the top of the card.

For this one I stamped the same image and coloured this one with Copics and again used some of the extras from the paper pack

I like the rich colours of the Copics.

I fussy cut the figure then added it with foam pads underneath to raise it up from the rest of the card.
For this card I used one of the stamps to create my background and heat embossed it in white on Navy Blue card

I used Zig Real Brush Pens to colour this one.

I did some partial die cutting around the image to leave his hat and the dog outside the circle.

For this one I added some glue and glitter to the hat and jacket.

The dog and the cat on each card is different.

So three cards done with the same stamp set but all looking different with the colouring and additions to them.

I still think the Copics one is my favourite

Cards for Girls

Hi Everybody,

The other day I spent a very pleasant couple of hours simply colouring and I was really pleased with the images.

I made them all into cards and they will be sent to a charity when I have enough to fill the box.

I used Copics and just enjoyed the time it took me to complete them all.

The images are all from Lily of the Valley

I do find it very relaxing to colour and then I alter things around a bit with a white gel pen.

On the top one I added white ribbon through her skirt and for this one I added spots to the skirt to make it look a little different.

You can make any of your designs personal to you with the addition of a bit of white if only to highlight some areas on their clothing or shoes.
And sometimes adding a tiny white spot to the cheeks or eyes can bring them to life.

Hope you like them all but I am sure that some little girl will be delighted with any of them on her birthday.

Take a look at the Craft Stash website for the products that I have used

All You Need is ....

Hi Everybody,

Today's card has combined dies from Crafti Potential and Spellbinders and the brick stencil from Craft Stash.

The result is a pretty simple card and you could add any word you wanted to the design to suit the recipient and the occasion.

With the stencil I inked the pattern and then I embossed it in the die cutting machine to impress the pattern into the card for a lovely effect.

I matted it onto some Kraft card to enhance the brickwork and added the flowers with foam pads underneath

Dot with a few pearls and the card is finished.
Quick, easy, clean & simple !!

Crafti Potential Words - Wishes

Hi Everybody,

I wanted to share with you some of the new dies from Crafti Potential and the ways in which you can use it.

There are 12 different words and lots of additional sentiments in each set for you to personalise your own designs.

Each word is big enough to make a statement on your cards  and yet the letters are separate.

But because you are adding them to a backing piece there can be no mistake about where each one goes.

I love to use large words as my focal point and I add them to a Vellum back for a cool effect.

Make A Splash ...

Hi Everybody,

So here I am again with some more Copic Colouring and this one is using a really cute stamp from Clearly Besotted

I created a top folded card and then rounded off the corners.

I layered the coloured panel onto an embossed panel with foam tape between the layers.

I took my time colouring this and then I added a vignette effect around it with paler shades of blue.

I added the water effect with white and a darker blue in various sized dots.

The stamp set has matching dies with it but for this card I only stamped the Dolphins onto smooth white stamping card.

I am quite pleased with the look and with a birthday sentiment added it would make a neat card for younger people.

Copic Colouring

Hi Everybody,

I have been Copic Colouring again and this is one of the images from Saturated Canary.

This beautiful image is called Eggstra Special  and at the moment the stamp is on special offer.

She was a delight to colour and it was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon.

There are many images for you to choose from so it's worth having a browse around their website.

This card is a 5x7 so quite a large one to send but it still fits inside an envelope for easy posting

Another one was this lovable Elephant from Whimsy Stamps  and the completed card is a small A2 size

Both of these images will be linked below so that you can take a look at them

Saturated Canary & Copics

Hi Everybody,

The other day when it was cold and wet I had an afternoon colouring and this beautiful image was my choice to use.

She is called Cinderella and she is from

This was a digital image and it is one that I bought some time ago.

But they have many images now on rubber stamps and at reasonable prices

I have coloured her before but this time I have used the new Copics that I have just bought as a Christmas gift from ME to ME

There are mistakes in it but as I practise with the Copics I will improve and I really enjoyed the process of colouring her in.

I love the images from Saturated Canary as they have big eyes and lots of beautiful hair and are such a pleasure to colour.
